You wake up already tired, before the day has even asked anything of you. You push through it anyway, because that’s what you’ve always done but by mid-afternoon, your body is running on a reserve it doesn’t have. You’ve told yourself it’s just stress, or age, or not enough sleep. Some days that explanation is enough to get you through. Most days, the same low, quiet discomfort is still there by evening, waiting for you like it never left.

You’ve tried adjusting things on your own drinking more water, cutting back on this or that, going to bed earlier. It helps a little, for a little while. Then you’re back to managing it quietly, the way you always have, telling yourself it’s manageable because you’ve learned to make it manageable. You stopped mentioning it out loud a while ago. Not because it isn’t real because you got tired of it not fully going away.

Here’s what’s true: you’re not imagining this, and you’re not lazy or falling apart. Your body is simply asking for the kind of consistent, daily support that quick fixes were never built to give it. That’s a different problem than the one you’ve been treating it as  and it needs a different answer.
